I know I say it every month, but boy did September just fly by. I feel like it goes faster and faster as the year moves on.
We shared some really fun projects and had a few bumps in the road. Overall, it was a great month. We’re starting to feel the pressure to get some major things done (like heat…we need that here in Minnesota), because winter will be here before we know it.
The great.
If you live close to a dollar store, we’ve got two great DIY projects for you – a fall floral arrangement and a fall wreath. Both projects were each $10 and under. Because who doesn’t love a good deal?
We installed five new windows on the north side of the house and it is amazing. The mudroom experienced the biggest transformation and now we’re even more anxious to finish up that space.
We shared our project list for the rest of fall and winter. We definitely aren’t hibernating or slacking off – it’s going to be a busy next couple of months, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing during Minnesota winters. Nobody likes going outside anyways when it is -60 outside, so now we have one more excuse to stay in and renovate!
We joined a fall porch blog hop with some amazingly talented ladies. If you haven’t checked out their fall décor, it is a must!
Lastly, we invited you on our fall home décor tour to give you new ideas and inspiration.
And the not-so-great.
Due to some jerk hackers trying to get into the server my site was hosted on, North Country Nest was down for about 11 days. Yikes! We hope you missed us as much as we missed you! We switched hosting companies so hopefully that never happens again.
We had two different meetings for the garage, both left us feeling a little ‘meh’ frustrated. We’ll be sharing more on those meetings and where we’re at with the garage next week.
As always, we’ll be updating you along the way and we hope October is a wonderful for you!
All our best,
