Day 12: Add Fresh Flowers to Your Home

This past summer, we planted a cut flower garden. After the success we had growing flowers for our wedding, I decided it was something I could maybe get into every year.
Being able to walk outside and cut beautiful flowers throughout the season brought way more joy than I thought possible. Now, obviously it being the dead of winter, running outside to cut flowers isn’t quite an option.
But there is something so wonderful that a fresh bouquet of flowers can do for your mind that I couldn’t NOT include this in the challenge. If you’re lucky enough to live close to a Trader Joe’s, I can’t recommend their selection enough. It’s usually reasonably priced with a great variety. If not, try heading to your local grocery store and see what you can buy. It doesn’t need to be a gigantic bouquet that costs a fortune – just something to liven up your home.
