I love open-style shelving, especially in kitchens. I love that it makes the space seem lighter and more inviting. I love that it lets me be a little more creative and I love that I get to show off all the pretty dishes I pick up at thrift stores and on clearance.
At first, it can be a little weird to have it all out in the open, especially if you’re used to throwing your things in a cupboard and quickly closing the door. When it’s an open concept, you have to be a little more strategic and organized, but it’s so worth it!
If you’re thinking of making the leap but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve rounded up some great decor items and inspiration pictures to give you some ideas on how to decor open shelving in your own kitchen.
