Farmhouse Christmas Wreath

DIY Projects· Holiday· Home Decor· The Seasonal Home

21 Nov

Hi everyone,

This is Sabrina again over from meetourlife.com and I am so happy to share another fun diy with you here.  Christmas is and always will be my favorite time of the year.  I am a firm believer of not decorating until the day after Thanksgiving but nonetheless I wanted to share with you our little farmhouse Christmas wreath.

DIY Farmhouse Wreath

Farmhouse Christmas Wreath

Out of all of my diy tutorials this one is probably one of the easiest.  You don’t really need much and it will take you barely any time.  So lets get started.

Farmhouse Christmas Wreath – Materials

Pine Wreath

Burlap bow

Ornaments

Monogram Letter

Floral wire

Hot glue gun

Putting the Wreath together – Step 1

So I started with the bow this time.  I made it out of burlap and buffalo check ribbon.  You can find detailed instructions on how to make a bow here.

Adding Ornaments – Step 2

After I attached the bow I moved on to attaching some of the ornaments.  I used floral wire which I pulled through or glued to the back of the ornaments.

Attach Ribbon – Step 3

This step is actually optional.  The space between our door and door frame is rather slim so we can’t use a regular wreath holder.  So I usually use ribbon to hold the wreath in place.

Adding the Letter – Step 4

Last but not least I added the monogram letter to the wreath.  Once I again I glued some floral to the back of the latter.  Once the glue was dry I attached it to the wreath.

And there you have it!  Once again a super easy and fun diy.  I love the rustic little touches of the burlap.  My favorite is probably the little bird which I found randomly at Walmart.

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always, happy diy’ing!

I love how you were able to change out the decor on the wreath. It looks festive without being too cluttered. That little bird is too cute, too!
