Remember that one time I talked about making a fall floral arrangement for $5? Well this fall DIY project is along those same lines. Because who doesn’t love dollar store projects? And who doesn’t love something that is five-step easy?
DIY Dollar Store Fall Wreath Supplies
- One twig wreath frame (the traditional kind… the ones that come to mind when you say ‘wreath’)
- One foam wreath (the ones that are green and you can stick things in them – they probably have a real name, but you know what I am talking about, right?)
- Faux flowers
- Hot glue gun and glue
- Twine
- Natural Rafia
How to Make a DIY Dollar Store Fall Wreath
Step one. Put the foam wreath inside the wooden wreath and using twine or twist ties or string or whatever else you can find, tie the foam to the wreath.
Step two: Pop all the flowers off the stems.
Step three. Arrange the flowers on the green foam wreath.
Step four. Glue the flowers to the green foam wreath.
Step five. Tie a knot around the wreath with the raffia, leaving enough space to hang from the door.

All our best,
wow! What a great result for such little time and money! Well done 🙂
Thank you, Colette!

Really smart to set the wreath form down inside the grapevine wreath. I would not have thought of that {and after fighting with trying to get things to attach to my grapevine wreath, I totally understand why, haha}.
I had a really hard time attaching to the grapevine wreath too, which is why I thought to add the foam inside. It helped so much and the hot glue really makes thing stick!
Best,
Kelly
Should have done this technique with my wreath, haha! Such a smart idea!
Thank you! It worked out pretty well and I didn’t have to wrestle with the grapevine. 🙂
I’m going to do this:) In my ‘spare’ time haha! Good work Kell!
It looks so easy to make. And it is just beautiful. I made mine working on sharing it soon.
